Hawker Sea Fury Kit

On April, 1943, Sydney Camm, the Hawker chief engineer, decided that the F.2/43 project (Sea Fury) with an up-rated Centaurus XII engine might also fit the needs of a new RAF interceptor. Well he was right and his Sea Fury was reputedly the best prop driven warbird in history!

Hawker Sea Fury Radio Controlled model aircraftThe first Sea Fury prototype, SR661, flew on February 21, 1945. Maximum speed was a blistering 460 mph with an armament of four 20-mm Hispano cannon in the wings, plus underwing racks for bombs, drop tanks, and rockets. This bird was fast and had teeth, more than a match for any warbird of the time.

The S&B Hawker Sea Fury is smooth, responsive and suprisingly quick. This model has also great PSS aerobatic capability even in light lift.

This kit is simple to construct as most of the work is done for you making it very quick to build, requiring at least two mini servos (recommended).

  • True scale shaped EPP fuselage - no sanding
